Everything you need to know before you arrive. A few simple rules keep Longhorn Landing peaceful, clean and friendly for everyone.

Booking

Reservations & stays

How do I pay?

  • Payment is due in full at the time of booking
  • Military, first responder and law enforcement discounts are applied at check-in with a valid ID and refunded to the card used for the reservation
  • Site numbers may change before arrival unless you pay for a site lock

What's the cancellation policy?

  • More than 30 days before arrival: full refund, minus a $25 fee
  • 3 to 30 days before arrival: camp credit, minus a $25 fee
  • Within 72 hours of arrival: non-refundable
  • No refunds for early departures

When are check-in and check-out?

  • Check-in is 3:00 PM; check-out is 11:00 AM
  • All guests check in at the front office
  • Arriving after hours? Check in by 10:00 AM the next day
  • If you haven't arrived within 24 hours and haven't called us, your reservation is a no-show and the deposit is forfeited

Is there a minimum stay?

  • 2 nights on weekends
  • 3 nights on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day weekends
  • Guests traveling with horses are exempt

How many people can stay on a site?

  • Up to 4 guests are included
  • $10 per extra guest, up to 6 per site
  • Each site must be reserved and occupied by someone 21 or older
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for children under 18 at all times

I'm staying long-term. Anything else?

  • Your lot fee is due on the same date each month, with no grace period
  • A $15 daily late fee applies until the balance is paid
  • If payment isn't received by the third day after the due date, you may be asked to vacate

Your RV

Sites & RV requirements

What kind of RVs are allowed?

  • All RVs must be self-contained, with a bathroom and holding tanks
  • One camping unit per site
  • Tents, pop-up campers and truck campers aren't permitted
  • Every site has sewer, water and 20/30/50-amp power

My RV is over 15 years old. Can I still stay?

  • Yes, with approval before booking
  • Send current photos of all four sides using the question form on our Reserve page, or text them to (580) 504-6543
  • We look for well-kept exteriors: no heavy fading, dents, torn awnings, excessive rust, or window or portable A/C units

Sewer & wastewater

  • Sewer hoses must be undamaged, with secure, sealed connections
  • Replacement hoses and sewer donuts are for sale at the lodge
  • Discharging any wastewater, gray or black, is strictly prohibited

Keeping your site tidy

  • Please keep your campsite clean and well maintained
  • No clotheslines or fireworks
  • Trash goes in the garbage bin at the park entrance; please don't leave it out overnight

Around the Park

Park rules

Quiet hours

  • Sunday–Thursday: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Friday–Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • No loud talking, music, TVs or generators during quiet hours

Can I have a campfire?

  • Fires are allowed only at the community fire pit, just west of the lodge
  • Exception: portable, self-contained stainless steel wood stoves approved by management
  • Never leave a fire unattended; county burn bans are posted at the office

Smoking & alcohol

  • Smoking is allowed at your campsite only; please dispose of butts properly
  • Adults of legal drinking age may drink at their site, or around the park if it's concealed
  • Please drink responsibly; illegal drugs are strictly prohibited

Are pets welcome?

  • Yes! Pets must be leashed (6 ft max) except inside the dog park
  • Always clean up after your pet
  • Pets aren't allowed in buildings or activity areas, but are welcome on the lodge's back porch (off the furniture)
  • Let the office know about any pets not listed on your reservation; cats follow the same rules

Driving & parking

  • The park speed limit is 5 MPH and is strictly enforced
  • No driving or parking on the grass unless approved
  • No washing vehicles or campers without approval
  • Guest parking is on the east side of the lodge

Respect your neighbors

  • Keep music within your own site
  • Please don't walk through other guests' sites
  • Offensive language, symbols, flags or political signage aren't permitted on the property

Good to know

Amenities & safety

  • Amenities are seasonal and weather-dependent and may have limited hours
  • The park is monitored by 24-hour surveillance, but guests are responsible for their own belongings
  • Guests use all park facilities at their own risk

Hookups & utilities

  • Surge protectors are recommended; the park isn't responsible for faulty connections to your RV
  • Utilities may be shut off after the 3rd of the month unless arrangements have been made
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to park property
